“I cycle 3 iu of GH 2x daily for 10 days and then do 2 days off. I get 60-80grams of protein and 50-70 grams of carbs. I noticed the GH taking effect right away. My workouts are a lot more intense and I’ve bulked up a lot. Still no side effects but I don’t think I am going to increase the dosage since I’m happy with it now.” – James, 26, Intramuscular HGH injections

“In the next 10 years I bet everyone is going to be on growth hormone and we will all live to 200! My doctor recommended me a supplement after I kept complaining about low energy. The HGH releaser is great stuff and is only a bit more expensive than the other supplements I was taking. I am especially happy that my hair is coming back a lot thicker and my sex drive suddenly exists again!” – David, 62, Uses an HGH releaser

For healthy adults, exercise is the most important factor in regulating HGH secretion in the pituitary gland. This is known as the exercise induced growth hormone response (EIGR). However, not all exercises are equal when it comes to boosting HGH naturally. Here is an overview of the best exercises for EIGR.

Resistance Training

Resistance training involves all of those intense exercises which occur at a high frequency with little rest time between bouts. For example, lifting weights repeatedly without much pause would result in the greatest amount of EIGR. In order to maximize benefits, resistance training should be performed with your body’s largest muscles (ideally, multiple large muscle groups at one time). More muscular fibers will be used during the exercises and cause a larger anaerobic response.

Endurance Training

There are many different types of endurance training depending on what your overall goal is – such as getting ready for a marathon or just wanting to shed a few pounds. If you want to use endurance training for increasing HGH levels, then the key is to exercise beyond your lactate threshold for about 10 minutes. This can cause surges in your HGH levels during the actual exercises and also for the entire next 24 hours.

Note that endurance training for upping HGH isn’t always about endurance. Your HGH is produced naturally in waves, not in long bouts. Because of this, your endurance training is best if kept to short intervals of about 20 minutes but performed multiple times daily. If you keep up the endurance exercises for too long, then your body will start making cortisol and HGH levels will decline.

Supplement after Your Workout

If you want to increase your HGH levels, then a supplement can significantly boost the results you get from your exercise routine. Ideally, you should be taking a HGH supplement (whether as an injection, oral/nasal solution, or HGH releaser) right after your workout AND before going to bed. Studies already support the numerous benefits of HGH supplementation. When used with exercise, the results from the supplement and exercise are even better.

Today, nearly all professional athletes are using HGH. Despite how common HGH has become, there are still a lot of misconceptions surrounding it and its benefits.

HGH Doesn’t Produce Magical Strength Gains

Growth hormone is responsible for many aspects of growth, including protein synthesis. By taking HGH, you can cause your muscles to grow – but you will also be causing your bones, organs and other tissues to grow as well! As you probably realize, larger doesn’t necessarily mean stronger. If you want to become stronger from HGH, then you will also need to work out. Otherwise, your muscles are just going to grow at about the same rate as the rest of the tissues. You would end up as a giant before getting any significant strength gains. With this said, HGH can produce about 15% gains to your workout cycle.

More is Not Always Better

If you try to figure out the optimal dosage of HGH, you will come across a lot of conflicting information. Some bodybuilders use up to 24IU daily whereas others opt for just 2IU a day.

When you take HGH, it gets processed by the liver which converts it into IGF-1, the most potent derivative of HGH when it comes to bodybuilding benefits. The liver is only capable of handling about 2-4IU of HGH at once. Every 5-7 hours, the liver will be able to handle another dosage of 2-4IU. Under this method, you would take at least 4IU of HGH daily divided into 2 dosages or a maximum of 16IU of HGH daily divided into 4 dosages. Note, under the later method, you would also need to carefully time the dosages with your workout, meals and sleeping schedule.

Since IGF-1 isn’t the only derivative of HGH, you could get benefits from taking larger dosages of it. However, the large dosages are likely to cause problems like bloating.

What is the Best Way to Take HGH for Bodybuilding?

If you were prescribed HGH for a health condition, then you would likely have been told to take it subcutaneously (injected below the skin). This method is ideal because it causes a slower increase in HGH plasma levels. If you are supplementing with HGH for athletic purposes though, then your needs are very different from people who have growth hormone deficiencies. You want to get the HGH into your system as quickly as possible, thus making intramuscular injection a better choice.

In order to understand when is the best time to take HGH, you must understand how HGH is naturally secreted and used by the body. Depending on what benefits you want to get with HGH and your activity level, you may need to take HGH at different times than others in order to get optimal results.

Normal Release of Growth Hormone

HGH is released naturally in surges throughout the day. Most of these surges are small and occur every 3 to 5 hours. The surges are to help maintain energy levels. Certain situations can trigger HGH release. For example, if you perform a high-impact activity (like resistance training), your pituitary gland will release HGH to help you recover. If your blood sugar levels fall, your pituitary will also release more HGH to help you stay energized.

When is the Best Time to take HGH Supplements?

To get the best results from HGH, you should take it to mimic your body’s natural production of growth hormone. Ideally, this would mean taking HGH every 3-5 hours. Many people prescribed HGH injections must take the treatment this way. For people who have healthy levels of HGH (though the levels may still be diminishing), supplementing HGH may only be needed once or twice daily at certain moments to maximize benefits. Weightlifters, for example, notoriously will take HGH supplements immediately after a workout.

If you are only taking a HGH supplement or HGH releaser once daily, then you should take it immediately before going to bed. The majority of your HGH is produced while sleeping. By taking the HGH at this time, you will maximize its benefits. If you are in training, then you should really take HGH at least twice daily: once before bed and once after your workout.

Timing HGH with Meals

Insulin and HGH are incompatible in the body. When your insulin levels are up, your HGH levels will fall. So, if you take HGH right after eating a carb-rich meal, the insulin will negate the benefits of the HGH. Ideally, HGH should be taken on an empty stomach. When taking HGH before going to bed, do not eat any starchy foods for at least two hours beforehand. If you must take insulin after a workout, first take the HGH and then the insulin about 30 minutes later.

In the ideal situation, you would break your HGH supplement or HGH releaser into multiple daily dosages. If you are willing to tolerate the inconvenience of this in order to get the additional benefits, then you should make sure that the daily dosages are at time when your insulin levels are at their lowest, i.e. well after eating a meal.

You know the saying that “you grow in your sleep”? There is a lot of truth to that phrase and it is because of human growth hormone, or HGH. Every day, healthy adults produce about 400 micrograms of HGH. The hormone is released in surges, usually in 3 to 5 hour intervals. Of all of the HGH secretions, the largest occurs in the first hour of sleep. About 75% of all HGH production will occur while sleeping.

If you are not getting enough sleep, then your HGH levels are going to drop drastically. Inadequate sleep also affects other aspects of your body, such as hindering nutrient absorption and causing stress. These effects could further impair your HGH production so you become deficient in HGH.

Will Sleeping More Cause Me to Make More HGH?

If you aren’t getting enough sleep, then adding a few hours of sleep to your night could significantly increase your HGH production. However, boosting natural HGH levels is not as simple as taking a few naps or sleeping in later on weekends. The HGH which is produced during sleep is mostly used for replenishing energy for the next day. It will not help you get extra energy nor any of the other benefits associated with increased HGH, such as a boosted metabolism and reduced signs of aging. Adequate sleep will simply help your HGH get to healthy levels but not necessarily optimal levels.

Most people need at least 8 hours of sleep a day. If you are an athlete, then you should be getting closer to 10 hours of sleep daily. Most HGH production occurs during REM. Forcing yourself to sleep 12+ hours a day isn’t going to make your HGH levels skyrocket. In fact, it could harm your HGH production because of all the time you spend inactive in bed.

Further, it is important to realize that a regular sleep schedule is necessary for HGH production. Your body produces HGH in surges, many of which are predictable depending on diet and activity levels. The HGH surge which occurs during the first hour of sleep is the most predictable. If you do not stick to a regular sleeping schedule, then you are unlikely to get a regular surge of HGH.

Supplementing HGH with Sleep Schedules

There are limits to how much more HGH you can produce just by sleeping more. So, many people opt for the easier approach to increasing HGH levels: supplements like HGH releasers. To get the most out of an HGH supplement or releaser, it is best to take it right before going to bed on an empty stomach. If you are taking HGH supplements more than once daily (which is ideal), then you should take the other dosage after a workout also on an empty stomach.
